Firecrest Regulus ignicapilla (Temminck, 1820)

Very rare, passage migrant & winter visitor. May occur in any month.

  1. One, not aged, 10th Dec. 1950 (H.J. Boyd).
  2. ONe. not aged, 25th Feb. 1968 (C. Rutter).
  3. Two, not aged, 29th Nov. 1992 to 23 Jan. 1993 (R.J. Palmer, A.H. Davis, N.R. Milbourne et al.) with a male present until 13th March (many obs.).
