  1. Thirteen, not aged, 11th October 2024 (P. Hancock).
  2. Seven, not aged, 6th February 2025 (N.R. Milbourne).

Record information:

The recent records probably refer to birds released by local shooting ineterests, possibly on Holt/Lag Farm. I recall seeing a very miserable, wet, Grey Partridge on Holt Farm around the turn of the century which had been released there. So far as I’m aware, that particular introduction failed to become established.


Status:

Locally deemed to be an extinct resident & rare introduced game bird. Former breeder.
